Frequently Asked Questions
To validate a CPF, paste or type the number in the field and click validate. Our tool checks if the CPF has 11 digits, if it is not a repeated sequence (111.111.111-11), and if the check digits are correct according to the Federal Revenue algorithm.
A CPF is considered invalid when: it has less or more than 11 digits, it is a sequence of equal numbers (000.000.000-00, 111.111.111-11, etc), or when the check digits do not match the correct mathematical calculation. This does not necessarily mean the CPF does not exist.
Yes! Our validation is done 100% in your browser using JavaScript. The CPF is never sent to our servers or stored anywhere. It is completely safe and private. You can even use it offline after loading the page.
If a CPF is mathematically valid but is rejected, it may be because some systems also check if it is a known test sequence (like 000.000.000-00) or reserved CPFs. Our tool only validates the mathematical structure, it does not check if it is registered with the Federal Revenue.
